starter solenoid
I just bought a 91 f250 low miles 87k. I got this thing in the middle of someone working on it. I am guessing they gave up ant the starter solenoid. I put 2 new ones in they keep getting fried and the starter will engage and turn over with the key out. I almost got ran over by it as it almost went through my garage back wall. I am thinking who ever worked on it out the wires on the solenoid backwards, as I put them where they had them. What is the correct positions for all the wires on the starter solenoid on the fender?

The battery cable and all the small wires with the big ring terminals go on one post of the solenoid, the big wire to the starter goes on the other big terminal "alone", then of course the small push on plug goes on the small "S" terminal..
