i found a 1978 F250 with a little rust above the rear wheel wells for 400 dollars. it has a big block 351 and a c6. the link is www.ksl.com/index.php?=218&ad=218878$cat=103&lpid=4. tell me if you think its worth it.
your link doesn't work...if it runs and drives, then yes buy it...
A 351C is NOT a bigblock. In reality, a bigblock is defined by the
bore spacing. A 351C shares the same bore spacing as a 351W, 302 and
289. 351C and 351W, 302, 289 heads can bolt to the others blocks.
Again, a 351C is NOT a bigblock. Put a 429 or 460 crank next to a 351C
crank with no labels. Tell me which is a bigblock. It will be obvious.
Put a 460 block next to a 351 block. It will be obvious.
Ford called the winsor block family the small blocks, the 351 C,M,& 400
are called medium blocks, and the FEs and 429-460 were the big block.
