I have decided to get a DashDaq at the end of the month when the units with the enhanced software are available.
Primary display:
I am looking to display (analog gauge type display), store continuous data, and initiate a preset audible or visual alarm mainly for the five following:
- Tranny Temp (alarm at 205)
- Boost Pressure (alarm at 30)
- Fuel Pressure (alarm at 45 initially, maybe drop to 40)
- Oil Temp (alarm at 235)
- EGT (post turbo) (alarm at 1000)
Secondary monitoring:
Also store data and initiate a preset alarm for the following;
- Coolant Temp (alarm at 215)
- EGT (pre turbo) (alarm at 1300)
- Oil Pressure (LPOP) (alarm at 7)
- Oil Pressure (HPOP) (alarm ???)
- Voltage (alarm ???)
- Coolant pressure (alarm at 16 ??)
Has anyone installed a pressure sensor on the coolant system? I am looking to tee it into the hose to the degas bottle.
I realize that some of these will take add-on sensors. I also am looking forward to the code reader and the option for the future GPS.
I bought my Dashdaq a couple of weeks ago. I am really interested to see how these add-on sensors work for you. I would like to do the same over the summer. The unit is very easy to use, and will be great once the enhanced parameters come out. When did you hear they will be out by the end of the month?
