hate to ask this question here but i was wondering how a toyota tundra would do pulling a 7x14 enclosed trailer im going to install a brake box on the truck so it will have trailer brakes i just like to have some opinions on this the trailer dealer said it would be ok but he also wants to sell me the trailer
thanks in advance for any replys
We've all seen that TV ad of the Tundra pulling that load up the teeter-tauter and down other side....I thought that 1/2 ton could pull (and stop) the Empire State building!!!! LOL
i knew it would handle the weight ok just didn't know about the enclosed trailer, i never pulled one didn't know if it would want to jerk the truck around the road or not
You may be wise to buy the lower profile trailer. You have the HP to pull the trailer, however, in the wind or with Tractor trailers -- It comes down to weight and wheelbase
I pulled a 1992 f150 with my 2002 f150 i put the transfer case in nutral and the shift collum in nutrual as well when i when to take it off i put the transfer case back in 2wd and now the truck will not move foward or rev. Please Help Thank you
The equipment will function just fine. It's the drivers skill that you have to worry about. Experience will be the best teacher & your learning curve will be different then anybody Else's.
