Hello FTE! I'm new here but I am on a couple other forums. I gotta a question about hooking up a fuel pressure gauge on a '03 7.3. I know you hook it into the bottom of the fuel filter bowl but I was wondering what size is the fitting where you install it? My reason for asking is I'm thinking about doing the FPR Shim Mod. Any thoughts on that mod? Thanks.
Once again many thanks! I'm going to do some more searching on that site to see if they might have the line also, but I'll probably just get that locally, dunno!
DuPont Teflon Tire Shine....that stuff is great. I use it not only on my tires and other rubber and plastic parts but also on my bumpers. They are black powder coated and the teflon really shines them up.

Install the gauge on the cowl and drive it for a few days to get idea of what the fuel pressure is under all conditions. you may be surprise how erratic the readings are especially with a 5-6 year old pump. I was able to mount my gauge in a autometer cup with out drilling any holes, only a small slice in the wiper wire boot for 1/4 hard line. watch out for wiper interference. then get some #4 socket head cap screws and shim away.
