Oil leak?

Ok...when I first got my truck oil used to leak out from behind the intake manifold and create a puddle of oil on the back of the engine. Well...I rebuilt the engine and installed all new gaskets. Even the valley pan for the intake. Well..it's doing it again. Is there any way to stop this leaking or is it just one of those characteristics of the Modified?

Oil leak?

Did you replace the oil pressure sending unit? They are notorious for leaking. I had a wicked oil leak from the back of my motor and as soon as I changed the sending unit it quit.

Oil leak?

I've found the same problem with an added line for an oil pressure gauge leaking at the "T" under the original sender. It can be tricky to get the manifold set and sealed without squeezing out the end seals.

Oil leak?

I replaced the OEM unit with an aftermarket oil pressure line for my gauge. I wrapped the fittings in Teflon tape when I installed the gauge but it still leaks. Arrgh!!!
