Here we go now, i got a whole new problem, now it wont start at all it makes a little pop after you let off of the key while cranking, it has fuel pressure, i can even watch the spray whem im throttling it and it looks good. it has no spark while cranking, i am blaming the wiring. I have a few thoughts, anyone know what and when the distributor should get from the ignition box for power.i dont think the distributor is getting any power

Distributor doesn't get power from the Ignition Module; it sends magnetically induced voltage pulses from its Pickup Coil to the Ignition Module. Each time a pole piece on the armature passes the coil a pulse is generated (approx. 1/2 Volt) measured between the Orange/Yellow wire and the Pink/Light Blue wire. You need to measure the pulses with an analog Voltmeter, a DVM may not capture them due to its internal sampling rate.

You may also have a bad ignition coil. If it's not supplying the voltage needed into the distributor, you won't get any spark.

Perhaps this is what you meant by "distributor not getting any power"? That's what I thought of when I first read that.

Drain the fuel filter and some gas out of the fuel line get a t least a quart of fuel
and let it sit in a marked clear container overnight, In the morning see if you have
any water sitting on the bottom of the container.
If that truck sat a long while doing the motor and the tank was anything but full it will condense moisture out of the air and if it was close to 90 days the fuel is starting to turn bad!! I would run 2 bottles of heet and 2 of iso heet and also take the filter
and fill it with iso heet and reinstall it then crank it a couple revs so the heet from
the filter gets up top and then let it sit for a few minutes, then try and start.

make sure you are getting a good 12v to the coil and check the resistance on the
primary and secondary windings before just replacing the thing. The coil and plug
wires should have about 5000 ohms per foot of resistance.

The wiring for the 460 electric pump system is in the back of the Haynes manual you can buy at the local store.
