Guys I do have a quic qiestions and I was hoping that either Chris, Phil or anyone else maybe able to answer it.
I noticed this moning when making a sharp turn in either direction the rear tires seemed to stutter across the pavement and chirp. It acted just like the front tires do on dry pavement when in 4 wheel. Diving in a strainght lie it is fine.
Am I looking at having the clutch packs in the axle replaced and what would the cost be roughly?? It hasjust over 82k on the odometer and I have ha it since 31k and have not touched the packs.
Now back to the BS'ing
Neil I could be ether clutches or fluid. although you may not see any fuild leaking they maybe leaking inside of the drums (if your model has drums). if not when was the last time the fluid was changed and did they add the friction modifier?

Neil if there is a shutter then it is most likely your clutches which means that if the fuild was change they didn't add enough friction modifer or none at all.
That is what my thoughts are that it is the clutch packs as I have never replaced tehm and have owned it since it had 31k on it. Currently I have just over 82k so I would think that is the culprit. I will know more tomorrow because I will drop it off at the garage when I get into work.
sorry neil, i was catching up in the forum. Love the new job. My Laptop crashed earlier today. Had to restore it. There was a virus in my network. Had to remove from all computers in the network. Found the one that caused it and of course it was the Damn DELL
