grinding/vibration

I did a search and couldn't find the exact symptoms i have. I get a grinding/hummin noise at around 70+ mph and then a coarse vibration below 15... tires are pretty agressive, and the grinding comes and goes... any ideas? thanks!

are your tires cupping in the front... if they are try rotating them this may get rid of some of the vibration

the fronts are wearing a bit funny... shouldn't be ball joints... how hard are front wheel bearing replacements and can i just replace the bearing or do i have to get a whole new hub assembly?

You have to get the whole hub assembly. It's an easy job, but first verify the bearing by raising the front end off the ground and see what the wheel sounds like when it spins. A bad bearing will rumble, wheel will feel loose or both.
Removing the hub requires that you remove the brake caliper and rotor. Then the axle comes out, (MUCH easier than it looks).
Then unbolt the four nuts on the inside of the spindle and work the hub assembly off.
