You can get the headliner down in 10-15 minutes, so wiring it should not be much of an issue. The question would be the durability IMO. While the gauges would not be that heavy, it would appear that they are mounted to the headliner, which is heavy cardboard. I wounder how long until it started sagging or pulling out.
I installed the fuel press & HPOP gauges on a 2 gauge windshield mount. Easy to install and I had just enough wire harness to make it. You need to measure/estimate the length of harness you will need to make it from the windshield mount to the manifold for the EGT probe and also to the under dash area for the power & ground. Then call to see how long the harness is.
The overhead mount I bought from ITP is held up by tabs that stick under the headliner & 3M type tape that stick to the windshield. Seems pretty secure, hasn't budged since I put them in in October.
I like it when someone pulls up next to me and starts horsing around. When they see a gauge pod it usually provokes or deters. This way, they really have no idea.
3 SPW in the under cubby pod. 3 Megan around the steering wheel. And 1 prosport (where 4x4 switch would be) for fuel pressure.
i wanted to get all the same ones, but I hadn't planned on getting so many gauges. then the bug hit me! spw was discontinued and taken up my Megan, but they don't make a fuel pressure gauge, so i had to get the prosport. You really cannot tell they are different brands unless you really pay close attention.
My personal favorite is the one stuck in the air vent...
YEP, but i couldn't get it in the blackout style

If you are talking about the one behind the gauge, its just a spacer. The other gauge has it now too, but it didn't when I took the pic. I'll have to update them to see the GPR LED and air horn button too.
