You could do the same thing with your famous #30 fuel bowl heater (&PCM) fuse located under the dash.
I don't remember seeing a #30 relay, I'll have to look again.

I missed it the first time too.

I don't know if its legal for you guys that have vehicle inspections, but turn the hazard light button into your activation switch. Its out in the open, easy to get to and is naturally unsuspecable as an anti-theft switch. I don't know about you but I have never used my hazard switch. Just a couple of ideas.

FYI, his setup interrupts the power to the clutch pedal sensor (on the 6 spd, the clutch pedal has to be pressed for the truck to start)
I use this:

In addition to an alarm system and a steering wheel lock. I'm not so much worried about someone jumping in my truck and getting it started as I am backing up a tow truck and taking off. I know most hackers don't use tow trucks but the tire lock goes on in like 5 seconds and its a big visable deterrent.

I suppose I could just pull the relay and see what happens. The numbering the manual vs. the lid of the fuse box is different, it's worth a shot.

The thief gets a ride and an easy date.
In my new motorcycle mag that I got a few days ago, they have a new system that is for bikes that replace your starter relay. If the key fobbie is not with in range, the bike will not start. Could work on our trucks the same way. I will find out more about it and post the info here. That could be a very easy way to protect our trucks... For not a whole lot of money...
