Simple Theft Deterrent Method

a real good spot for it would be to open the ashtray or drink holders and reach for a blind switch to trip
maybe even inside the floor vents
i drove a truck one time that had this...reach your finger up inside the floor vents and flick the switch
one of those you just have to know its there switches...

I think inside the glove box is another good place...probably where I would put mine it would just take a little more wiring and manuevering

The overhead console (if you have one), what thief is going to look up. You could put it on the inside of the garage door opener compartment or the sunglass holder compartment.
I don't know if its legal for you guys that have vehicle inspections, but turn the hazard light button into your activation switch. Its out in the open, easy to get to and is naturally unsuspecable as an anti-theft switch. I don't know about you but I have never used my hazard switch. Just a couple of ideas.
