I think inside the glove box is another good place...probably where I would put mine it would just take a little more wiring and manuevering
I thought about that too, but I wouldn't want something inside the glove box to throw the switch accidentally if you hit a bump hard or something. Not likely, but I could see it happening and with my luck it would happen to me in a spot I don't really want my truck dying on me!
The overhead console (if you have one), what thief is going to look up. You could put it on the inside of the garage door opener compartment or the sunglass holder compartment.
I don't know if its legal for you guys that have vehicle inspections, but turn the hazard light button into your activation switch. Its out in the open, easy to get to and is naturally unsuspecable as an anti-theft switch. I don't know about you but I have never used my hazard switch. Just a couple of ideas.
