thats about right for a dealer, you could probly get it a little cheaper from a private party but you may not want to wait around for one to turn up

I'd say it is a great deal with a 5.4L and those low miles, that would be a hot truck if you added a tuner and a few other mods to it. If that was around this time last year when the insurance wanted to total mine and pay me off I'd have snatched it up. This is all assuming the paint and body are in very good shape of course.

I see it has dual exhaust and of course the tinted windows, if you go look at it you might look for other signs of mods.

Sounds high to me, bet KBB wouldn't go to 10 grand, unless it was in truely exceptional condition. 62K in 6 years sounds more like average miles to me.

Using that ad as a guide I could probably ask 15 grand for mine w/only 11,000 miles.

Keep in mind that the used car market is dramatically overstocked w/Gas Guzzlers & its a buyer's market. I'd offer 8 grand & walk if it can't be had for 9. Every used car lot in my small north central FL community has a surplus of Gas Guzzlers, I must have seen 50 FORD pickups sitting on lots here & another 50 from my casual search in the community 35 miles to my south. No way on Earth that I'd drive 300 miles unless it was something unusual.

look it up on edmunds.com or nada.com

KBB sucks. most dealers use NADA.com anyway.

but i would guess its worth around 10-11K

nada.com says its worth 13500 retail but only 11000 for a trade in, so i guess 12K aint bad.

Respectfully & IMO, when a dealer you don't know, 300 miles away, volunteers to drop the price from 15 grand to "let it go for 12grand" sight unseen, over the phone, there's plenty of room to haggle.

So I'd guess that this pickup can be bought for considerable less. I'd also expect National Auto Dealers Association to pad the retail price & be based on outdated info.

Forget the worsening economy & rising gas prices that are conspiring to drive Gas Guzzler prices down & flood the market.

Forget the 600 mile round trip just to see a common vehicle.

KBB must not suck too bad, it looks like their high evaluation is equal to your "10-11K".

IMO this pickup can be had for much less.
