I've google searched it 3 ways and come up with nothing that tells the bolt to bolt dimensions. Search it by engine size/dimensions, maybe you'll find it. These are different, so search each engine. Sorry.
Put another way, what are you trying to do? Maybe there is another answer.
im trying to make a zf6 fit a 351w. the zf never came behind one so i have to make an adaptor plate or cut up bell housings as the zf isnt removable. was hoping to make an adaptor as replacing trans whould be so much easier.
How is the input shaft length? Do you need extra depth? If so, an adaptor might could be made. Once you have both engine and trans in hand, you can pattern it or contact these folks and see what they think. (starter issues, clutch, a host of others perhaps?} http://www.advanceadapters.com/
If you don't have the trans yet, perhaps another box would work.
dont have it yet but after much research i like this one the best. i like the six speed for is over over drive for street use and i like the low first for off roading. basiically its the best of both worlds or at least as close as can be.
im still trying to find imput shaft specs

Reason: add
thought about the nv very hard but i want to try and keep it all ford. plus the weight isnt a hugh issue but every pound counts. for the sake of ease thou i might go that route. the only reason i dont like the t56 is its not a 4x4 case and almost way to long. the 7 speeds are gonna prob be too heavy. and i want a manual so the c6 is out but if i was to go auto thats the only one i would put in.
yeah but its the whole it comes in a dodge thing that gets me...lol the price is a little more on the nv too. i guess it prob come out the some as if i have the adaptor made for the zf...hmmm guess thats gonna be the decidor. which one cost the least.
L 5.79:1
1st 3.30:1
2nd 2.10:1
3rd 1.31:1
4th 1.00:1
5th 0.72:1
R 5.23:1
so the zf6 doesnt have an double overdrive like a t56 it just has one overdrive so you mine as well use the zf 5 it has the granny 1st and over 5th
also ford used the cummins 5.9 in some of its bigger trucks like f550s and above so they might of used the nv5600 in those
thats why i want the 6 not the 5 i like the low gear but also haveing the "normal" 5 speed in it, i understand its not a over over i miss worded sorry. it jsut seems to be a better option for what i am planning.
