The flashing shifter is the computer telling you that there is a problem and a code.
Get some one to read the code stored in the computer and post it here. Having the code helps eliminate a LOT of guesswork. Some tranny shops and autoparts stores will read codes for you. Tranny codes are less commonly read by auto parts stores. AAMCO will read codes for free but will give you a sales pitch.
You say stuck in OD. Does that mean from idle and whiel driving? Do the gears shift at all?

ill have to get the exact codes i had it read by a tranny shop and nine codes came up two of them being the oxgen sensors, the guy said it could be a wire that liks everything together, when i put it in 1st it will roast the tires as well as in 2nd but when its in drive it feels like its pulling a house behind it lol so i start off in 2nd and just shift it manualy when i get to 40km/h

Check your O2 sensor wire harnesses to see if one of them has melted on the exhaust.
When they do, it blows the fuse that controls, among other things, the transmission solenoids.
Do get and post the exact codes.
