I have a 93 eddie bauer 5.8l supercharged. My truck died and I can't figure out what the problem is. It spuddered out twice, and on the second time it wouldn't start. I have a spark, and my fuel pump is working well. It will crank but not turn over and start. I think it might be the injectors, but I'm not sure. If you have had this problem before let me know how you fixed it
For the engine to run, it needs:
Gasoline - check the schrader (tire) valve on the fuel rail to see if gas sprays out
Air - test the IAC according to the Haynes manual
Compression - use a screw-in compression tester
Spark - put a bolt in the distributor end of the coil, lay the bolt on the engine within 1/4" of some metal (but not touching), & observe while cranking
