rear suspention
I have written an article its here at (FTE). Its a way to Pro-Street a truck
with out cutting it in half, I have saw so many of these old trucks cut in half
to make room for wide tires that already fit beteen the frame and out side
fender! My way is using cut pieces of old junked truck frames fitted to the
inside of the frame and letting the old leaf mounts stay where they came.
Here is just one of my posts and a lot of members posts how they did theres
which may help you decide how you want to do yours!

P.S. I have pics in my gallery that may help alot, you may also glance though
my old posts I have posted on this subject lots of times!
Don't forget to take a look at my article! It's in my sig below>

My rear wheels are 15x14 the tires on my 65 are 13 1/2 inches wide and when
I have to replace the rears I plan 15 wide, now on my 77 that I Pro-Streeted
I ran M/T 29 /18.50 they were 15 inches wide and only 29 inches tall, you can
fit the wide 33s with no problem. I have thought of anding ladder bars under
the frame on my 65!
P.S. I have Pro-Streeted a 65 and a 77 and have not installed a narrowed
rear end yet, by having a set of wheels banded to the inside 11 inches.
I might add a narrowed rear end to the 65 later, BUT I can run stock wheels
and tires like it is now!
