mustang gt headers

hello, just wondered if anyone had used fox body gt factory shorty headers on any of the bumpsides w/ 302. looks like there is plenty of clearance, but not for sure.

I had the same idea for my '78 with a 302 but the driver side exited right at the clutch linkage. If you have an auto. it would probably work

I have the stock mustang headders on my 1970 ford , It works great.

I've got mustang shorties on my 4x4, and I also had clutch linkage issues. Because my 79 f'150 never came with a small block ford I couldn't find any bolt on headers would work, I massaged the clutch linkage to get the exhaust to clear, basically moving the clutch linkage ahead about 6 or 8 inches. If it were an auto truck, they would have been bolt in.
