more lift (8"+) might allow me to use the driver side steering arm and have highsteer like originally planned. I bought a 4" drop pitman arm for my 4" suspension lift but I probably shouldve bought a factory height arm. No amount of lift will move the crossmember the F150 style arm gets under it.
Im not 100% convinced that even with 8"+ lift I could have highsteer. The tie rod gets in the way of the drag link with my arms.
how much lift are you running again? 16"? I think Ill just go with that.
25ish well heres how i calculated it....
my new springs were 8" taller than my 6" springs and alot stiffer so thats 14, then i lowered the spring buckets down to where the top of the spring is at the top of the frame so thats like 8ish, so thats 22, 3" body lift makes 25" give or take........but since the housing is 4" tall and my sprin mounts are like 2.5" over that sooooooo, i dont know how much the spring mounts stand on the stock axle......its alot!
what about it?? you have no box, bumpers or grill insert. What are you 16 and its your first "ride"
And you got a truck that was built by your daddy sitting on top of a concrete tube casue you can't drive, so what's your point???? That's why Quad has a "build thread" and not a "complete ready to run thread". And judging by the pic on the ramp, your what 20,21? Kids these days, what are you gonna do with em!
