Hey thanks man, so no go on rotating the stock pitman arm, then. Either way thanks for the info, i'll definitely check in on that. I can do it all myself, we got a sweet machine shop and weld shop, this is just for future reference, but i'll eventually get to the point where i'll need to do it, 37's (that i'm planning on) aren't that big!

Could i get that minions entrance exam? frias88@yahoo.com

Tre,
if you use the stock F250 dogleg pitman arm it will hit the crossmember under the engine.

check my gallery for more pics if you are interested.

you seriously need a F150 style pitman arm to make it work. All the lift in the world wont move the crossmember and its pointless to cut it out so you can save $70 on a new pitman.

Got it boss, i'll do that. I just meant that a new crossmember would be cool too. Just another excuse to work on my truck.

more lift (8"+) might allow me to use the driver side steering arm and have highsteer like originally planned. I bought a 4" drop pitman arm for my 4" suspension lift but I probably shouldve bought a factory height arm. No amount of lift will move the crossmember the F150 style arm gets under it.

Im not 100% convinced that even with 8"+ lift I could have highsteer. The tie rod gets in the way of the drag link with my arms.
