300 Build. Will this work?

Hellooo ladies and gentleman. I've been planing doing a build on my 300 c.i. EFI with my dad. Here's our idea;

4 brl intake, Carb, Port @ pollish, Hooker header, and probably a cam.

What do you guys think? How much horsepower and torque gain do you think I'll get? Right now I have a bone stock 300 with EFI. I'd really like to build it to get around 200 HP before putting it back in my truck when I do have to rebuild it.

Any thoughts and info would be greatly appriciated. The objective of this thread is to find out what you guys think about these items, if they will give me good power or not. Again, I'm shooting for 200 HP.

I won't be able to do this build any time soon. I'm hoping on getting it done within this year.

Thanks for your time in advance!

Do your research...427 pages on this Forum plus over 100 pages on the fordsixperformance Forum especially the "Figures" thread where umpteen different combinations have been posted along with the HP and TQ projections from Desktop Dyno. Take notes, make a plan, work the plan until mission accomplished.

Why are you converting your truck over to carb'd may i ask? are you converting your EFI to carb'd or building a whole new engine from another truck?

I asked for these specific modifications. I'm too tired and don't care enough to research.

Please either answer or not. Thank you!

No. I was going to convert mine to carb'd. I've decided to scratch it anyway. I'm not building a 300. This thread can be scratched. Thank you.

You've been around long enough to know that this topic gets beaten to death on a weekly if not daily basis. Your exact list of mods has received dozens of inquiries. If you're too lazy to do any research on a build what makes you think you have what it takes to carry it out?

well im to sick and tired of these useless threads popping up when the magic search button is located at the top of the forum. if ur to lazy to do the research dont expect anyone to hand u the answer. and u dont care enough to search then i guess u dont want to do this build then and honestly i dont really care what u have to say either
