If you do a slip joint Id only build a single bar like mine just not as cheesy. I wouldnt do a triangulated design with the slip because you'll need atleast 6 may 8" of slip either way and the lower tube that connects to the main would have to be almost in the middle. All the load from the axle twisting up will be put in the center of the main instead of the front mount.

Does that make sense?
yeah, thats my plan, did you look at the link, just like a radius arm, but it will slip....
I looked at the brackets if thats what youre asking.
2" OD .250 wall DOM main tube with 1.5" OD .250 wall slip tube is what Id do. I go that big because of your tire size gearing and potential engine HP.
Are you going with bushings or heims at the ends? Whats the plan for attaching to the frame?
yeah i was thinking big.....2.25x.25 and 1.75x.25
bushings on the axle end and well some sort of heim on the frame end.....i have two large evo joints, but it would almost be a waste to use those on just traction bars, that will see no real force b/c of the slip.....
the rod that connects from the frame to the engine block to limit the twist under hard acceleration. Some people use chain. Big power motors can break the motor mounts if its not there.

oh yeah duh.......
im thinking about using motor plates on my build......im not sure yet....
