Did you ever resolve this issue??? I have the same problem with my passenger side bearing, once everything is removed the rotor will not come off. The bearing grenaded on me, whats the best way to remove the rotor without tearing things up???
I haven't resolved this issue yet. Didnt have much time to work on the truck so i had to throw everything back together. I think things got so hot from the play that the seal melted everything together. I'm going to have to buy a puller or rent one from the auto parts store to get the hub/rotor off.
I ended up deciding to buy a new rotor and hub assembly since the condition of the bearings where so bad. I used a hammer and beat the crap out of the back side of the rotor to dislodge it from the spindle. I would suggest not trying to turn the rotor with your finger in one of the heat vents around the outside, if it spins and catches your finger between the rotor and the caliper mount it hurts really bad. My bearings welded themselves to the rotor and the whole thing needed to be replaced. I ordered the rotor and hub assembly off of Jeff's Bronco Graveyard for alot less than the dealer charges. My spindle is in good shape so I didn't have to worry about that. It took a while to dislodge the rotor assembly but it worked its way out.
