i got a new cobra for the 250 and tried hookin it up tonight but no fire! on my old truck i just jumped it to a fuse and that was all. i dont know if it was just my fuse choice or a ground but it got late and i got tired of foolin with it. anybody got any advice on a good ground close to center console w/o running 3 ft of wire? also anybody got a good fuse number i think i tried 29 which was radio fuse.

Mine is grounded to the center dash support.
I actually tapped the power wire for my trailer brake controller and the CB into the underdash PDC by finding two hot at all times sockets and shoving the correct size spade terminal in them.
