i would like to say no, but it all depends on how low the pressure is while driving, if it runs ok down the road but only has idle probs then i would say you are in the clear.
otherwise she runs nice. i took the tri-angle piece out to try to drill, then cleaned her good. and come to think of it, on original take-out when i realized it was too high pressured and after getting out the spring i had to but the bolt back in and start it up and shut her down to get the triangle piece out, cause my magnet wasnt strong enough to pull it out
if the magnet wouldnt pull it out then it is sticking, the magnet doesnt have to be strong at all, it should slide freely, you will need to make sure the housing isnt scoured.
if you tried to drill it then you might want to get a new one especially if it is sticking in the housing, and if the inside of the housing is messed up you will want a new one of those too.
