high idle mod question

high idle mod question
Finally getting around to doing the high idle mod but have a question in regards to the setup.
I was going to simply install a toggle switch ( non LED) but here are my ???
Is a relay necessary?
What would/could happen if no relay is used?
Asked auto parts store about what relay and got a deer in the headlights look so if one is needed for sure anybody gota aprt# or type that would work. The toggle switch I have does not have an LED so what would I need to change in the wiring when following the tech folder.
Got a warm garage to work in tonite and tomorrow so any help is always appreciated.

You need no relay
Look on the d/s kick panel above the Emerg brake.. There is few wires hanging there.. Thats where you find the wire to hook to a switch.. Just simply add power and it'll increase your idle without needing the brake
Ignore that stupid relay crap.. Thats if you want the weird "Battery Load" alternating circuit.. Waste of time if you ask me..

finished
finished installing my high idle switch - foglight mod - pass air bag switch.....look ma no burns or frizzy hair
Just used the switch mounted to the right of the steering colum on the lower gray part of dash like it is in high idle mode folder.
Heading back to install my bores bumper guides.
Whats the best way to access front marker light wiring?
