odb-II?

ok I have heard that everything made after 96' was supposed to be odb-II complient, so I was wondering if my truck is so then I could get a tunner that would be able to work with my truck so I took some picture they are kind of blurry but I hope they work.

Being a '97 F250 (HD), yours is not OBD-II. I don't think the 460 was ever made OBD-II compliant, with the possible exception of CA (they're always an exception to normalcy out there).

Jason

P.S. Keep your pics to ~640 pixels wide--not everyone uses a 22" widescreen monitor...

would that be up by the cab on the driver side? I have some more photos on photo bucket where I thaught it would be if the plug wasnt above the tranny. If that plug wasnt a odb-II then what is it?

The gray one next to the heater selector vacuum hoses is for a trailer brake controler.

The pictures you have are of the Trailer Tow harness for a brake controller.

Pull the ECU and look at the tag on the connector, that'll take the guess work out of it.
