ok, i got a 91 f250 5.0l i've tuned this thing up 5 times changed everything and it still misfires under a load. it doesn't matter if its a hot or cold engine or if its hot or cold out it still does it. im lost ad tired of replaceing parts. any help would be great!!!
From what I have seen, it is easy to get the plug wires crossed in these. Double and triple check your fireing order and make sure you are starting at the right place on the cap.
i replaced cap/rotor,wires,plugs, and coil. all parts were wells and motorcraft. i heard a lot about crossing wires andit being bad. i habe an 86 f250 and it never had a problem. this truck is driving me nuts! is there a certain brand wire i should use?
If the ignition is good, then maybe the compression, or the fuel is not.
Compression check is easy and quick. Not sure of an easy way to check the injectors.
Just an idea.
