Blah, blah, blah...........

I know the program that I am watching maybe old to most of you, but I am watching RIDES on TLC. It seems interesting, and it looks fun.
The leader- Rick Pe'we sure does not look like a hardcore off roader to me, but I guess he gets the job done. (He has that Boyd Coddington look -RIP BTW)
I remember reading about his flat fender (Rick's)in old magazines and reading most of his tech articles too.

I do like the new F150 bodied truck, it stirs up ideas for projects which leads me to this.

Are most of you in this forum working in the automotive industry?

Sometimes I wish I were, but I would probably be sick of working on cars/trucks on my off time. In the same way that I am sick of working on houses in my off time.

I know most of you - like me - have budgets, how much do you guys spend every month on parts that you want?

I wish I also had more time to build trucks too, as we know, too much projects and too little time.

I used to work in the automotive industry, i moved and really didnt get started back into and yea i got to the point where i didnt want to spend time workin on my truck, but every now and then i would. Im the same with the house part, i worked construcion for awhile, and while i will help friends out with there houses and what not, i dont like workin on my own. I do what needs to be done, same with my truck. I dont really have a parts budget, not yet, looking to buy project vehicle, then im sure i will have, i like workin on my truck now, but i dont want to invest money into parts that i dont really need on a dd. I did my own exhaust from the headers back, Fabbed up some racks for it and other small misc. things, hopin to start a new bumper for it soon, would be nice.
