Is anyone familiar with any aftermarket bulbs that would be brighter than the OEM bulbs that light up the dash? (ie: speedo, tach, and other gauges). I find them a little too dim at nite. Thank you in advance for all assistance. And yes, I have the interior/dash light wheel turned all the way up...

Be safe and keep it between the ditches. Oh, wait a minute...we don't hafta do that anymore.
Look in your owners manual for the replacement bulb number, then go to Carquest or Autozone etc and have them find an equivilant bulb size with higher candlepower.
This would be handy info. I find that when you drive with parking lights on during the early evening or while it's raining, it's sometimes hard to read the outputs.
Sorry guys I don't have the part#s. It happened by accident and threw the packages out by the time I realized. I'm pretty sure I got them at Advance. Bring in the old bulb and get the ones that look the same but listed as for foreign vehicles

I can't imagine wanting a brighter dash at night........I keep mine all the way down. When you are used to driving with it all the way up, you don't think twice about it. But once you turn it all the way down, you'll be suprised on how much of a difference it makes with night time vision.........it should be easier on your eyes too.......
Thanks for the input guys. Remember, you can always dim the interior lights at night but I tend to drive with lights on all the time which makes it tough to read the outputs unless it's dark out.
I used to think my gauges were dim on my last Ford, then I found out that half of the dash bulbs were burned out. Replacing the bad bulbs and cleaning the others off worked wonders.
