Rare truck ?
I was posting a reply in the 5.4 forum when I got curious. Anyone out there have an 06 350 sc longbox 4x4 4:10 or similar. never seen another but they must be around.

I would not think that an 06 F350 standard cab with 4x4 would be that rare, diesel or gas.

I know most people want the extended cab or the crew cab instead of the standard cab. I've had four standard cabs and no way could I go back to the SC after having a crew cab.

Single cabs rule, we have to be different.....


My dealer had not sold a regular cab for years unless ordered by a customer, now he keeps them on the lot because of demand.

I have seen it used more for standard cab. Super cabs are now referred to as extended cabs.

"Super Cab" is Ford's brand name for their extended trucks since they've started selling this type of cab in 1974. I've never heard of "Standard Cab". Those types of cabs are "Regular Cabs". In fact, ALL manufacturers call these cabs "Regular Cabs".

You are correct.......I just checked Ford's website and they list Regular Cab, Super Cab and Extended Cab.
So much for standards cabs.

There is a '08 F-450 Regular Cab long bed 4x4 on the dealer lot here. Never seen an '08 F-450 that wasn't a Crew...

No, you can't get the F-450 P/U in any configuration except for a DRW Crew Cab log bed.

My bad Most dealers stock short bed crew cabs around here. Super Cabs are second, you see them in the farmer or public works version.

This one is clearly a Regular cab, and the badges say F450 on them. It's brand spanking new sitting on the dealer lot. It's a huge, brand new dealership...so they might have done a conversion with a Cab & Chassis
