I just put one in two weeks ago. I actually bought the Tugger, but didn't feel like pulling the tranny to do the whole install. Basically, I installed the parts you would get in the standard kit (should be around $65-$80 depending where you get it). I notice you have the Superchips -- not sure how it does with tranny shifts, but Jody from DP is getting mine back to set it up for the kit. I just talked to him this morning and he said there was a bunch of stuff to change when you have a kit installed.
Overall, I like it -- at first, I wasn't all that excited about the shifts until I tried it in stock. I definitely noticed that the shifts were much shorter, but I was hoping for more firmness. This was in the 80E/120R positions on the Tuner. When I switched to stock one morning, I noticed the shifts were actually crisper. That's what prompted the call to get my Tuner reburned. That, and I've been wanting the 140 Smoke and lope idle...
HERE is the original thread I started right after I put it in. I'll know better when I get my DP Tuner back how much I like it. When I wrote that, I hadn't fully experimented with it or talked to Jody -- I have a feeling it'll be much better when I get the Tuner back with the tweaks.
EDIT: BTW, I just remembered that Brian uses a TransGo plate when you order his Valve Body. Something to think about. Let me know if you have any more questions...

So Izzy......did Jody tell you that he can burn a custom tune that can also match up with your trans-tugger shift kit? I keep having to put my DP on the back burner....but most definitely it's in my future! Interesting how he can custom burn it to work with whatever mods you have!
Whether you buy a valve body or install a kit, you will need to let Jody, or whoever burns your chip, of your transmission mods. I rebuilt my trans and installed the TransGo kit and will be reburning my chip due harsh shifts on hard acceleration. I bought my DP Tuner chip from Dennis @ ITP and said he could reburn it for the tranny mods I did. The chip usually raises the line pressure and with the mechanical mods in the trans can "overdo" it. It feels like I'm going to split it in half if I don't take it easy as I have no slippage now.
I put a transgo tugger kit in mine as well. I absolutely recommend it. As already stated any programming you do, let whom ever you get it from know what you have. I would recommend going with DP Tuner, imop the best programming there is out there.
Well, it really depends if you want to save a couple bucks and do your own, but there are a couple mods to the main VB that won't get done if you only do the BTS accumulator VB. Don't know what difference they really make, but it's a difference. It also depends how you feel about tearing into the tranny. It's not hard, but you have to pay attention and do one valve assembly at a time so you don't get things mixed up. I got interrupted in the middle of mine and I had to go back and make sure I didn't miss anything. I think the BTS is ~$230 plus core, the TransGo is about $70. Your decision. Like I said in the other thread, it was good to get in there and see how the thing works as opposed to using someone else's "VooDoo" setup.
Mine actually shifts firmer/crisper in stock than in either of the tune settings, but that's just because they're not set up to shift at the correct points, etc. based on the old, stock peanut-butter shifting. If it shifts as well or better than the way it feels in the stock setting, I'll be thrilled.
I guess I would classify this as one of those things I wish I had the time to get to sooner. It worked out well though because there's a dyno event coming up locally and I'm anxious to see how it does.
