I agree on the loctite. As for torque specs, on stuff like that with bolts going into iron or steel, I use the German torque spec of gudentite. Not on head bolts or anything like that of course.

Never used locktite on flywheel or flexplate bolts and never had one come loose using the stock torque specs
I have used teflon paste on small block flexplate/flywheel bolts to seal the threads (holes go through the flange on roller blocks) Never had them come loose either.
