OK lets look at this .. High Octane Racing fuel Burns slower then 93 octane pump gas, So it should burn cooler then pump gas. By mixing your 112 octane racing fuel with 93 octane pump gas your ending up with 97 octane gas? Why ??
I'd follow Wayne_J comp. reading for octane use
150 psi or less use 83
160 to 180 use 87 (if you get ping switch to 93 or use a 160* thremostat)
180 to 200 use 93 (if you get ping use a 160* thremostat)
Above 200 use an 160* stat and octane booster such as 104
I'd say you got your timing bumped up to much for street use that why your motors running hot.
