HELP! New Engine Knock
Well I found out last night what was causing the knock. Looked at the number 3 bearing and it had grooves in the copper along with the crank. Damn, I was hoping that it would just be a bearing and the crank would be fine. Tough lesson to learn.
Come to think of it, how does everyone break their engines in?

Sorry to here your problem, but just to let you know if go to advance auto parts you can buy a crank and bearings for $183.00 I did not know if you know that or not. Of course there is a $20.00 core charge for a 400.
