E4AE-6015-FA8 decode Please
Hi Fellows,
I been looking all afternoon trying to find out what this motor casting number
is, 351 or 302,,,,,,the year,,,,,Stuff like that. I've read a hundred thread entries
and I couldn't find the info enough to figure this out.
The number, best I can tell....it's hard to see around the starter. But it looks like
E4AE-6015-FA8,,,,,,,,The first letter could be a F,,??,,,,Looks like an E
F15O ,,,,,last "O" has a dia.line running through like /
There's a second set of numbers just below the first set. So it looks like,,,,,
E4AE-6015-FA8
F15O
This motor is in a '77 F-100 ranger, auto. PS. PB Air. with a C-6 trans.
I'd appreciate any help.
