According to the user manual at the KAL website http://www.kalequip.com/publish/2004..._english_3.pdf DCL (DLC?) stands for Diagnostic Link Connector. I bought a Ford OBD1 code reader from Kragen's Auto Parts for $30. Good luck. Jim

Well I just replaced the FIPL sensor and of course no help. I also tried to read the codes again but for some reason it will not connect. Any suggestions?

All I could suggest is try a different code reader that is specifically for Ford OBD1 systems 1981-1995. Jim
