" Enough with the cranked to the sky show trucks. the re are plenty of other magazines on the news stand for those. Diesel fanatics like myself dont want to see and read the descriptions of how many amps the stereo puts out, or how many flat screen tv screens are in the back seat. Focus on the engine and drive train. Thats what your target market wants. "diesel power" is the name of your magazine, not "stereo power".
Secondly, you need more articles on first generation of diesel powered trucks ... - Rant - ... You need to find more interesting stuff than just the owner put on a cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust, and power programmer. ""

I cant believe they actually published this - He tore them apart pretty good but i agree 110%!!!! The stereo crap drives me crazy. Im glad someone agrees with us
I received my cancelled subscription refund check from Diesel Power on Saturday. I won't waste another 5 minutes per month flipping through it, they won't miss my subscription money with all the advertising cash they rake in.
FWIW, the best Diesel magazine I ever read was the Turbo Diesel Register for Cummins owners. Oh well...
I don't waste my time. Might grab a friends copy to look at all the pretty pictures. Nothing real useful in them for me. I have a couple of the IDI's and haven't seen an story on them for awhile now. Even if I could drop enough clams on a new truck (not-likely and I have a great job) I couldn't afford any of the after market computerized gizmo's you need to open these new deisels up. You have to sell your first born to buy the truck in the first place what do you need to sell for a bullydog system with a intake and exhaust oh yeah and bigger wheels tires and a lift? And to do what...blow black smoke everywhere and make us all look bad?
