Got a little light issue. All lights are working except the rear passenger brake & blinker. Front passenger blinker works fine. Tail light works, just the one brake and blinker.
Anyone have an idea? The light popped out while driving the other day (It's not screwed down due to some body damage way back) and shortly after is when I noticed it wasn't working. I checked real quick tonight and theres no power at the T-plug at the bumper. Just wanted to see if this was a common issue before I mess with it tomorrow. I really hate working on stuff in the winter.
where are the grounds? The grounds run in the harness to the front of the truck right? They aren't physically grounded in the rear of the vehicle right?
Well i just got done laying in the snow for a half hour. There's no power to the plug at the bumper. I'd really rather not lay under there for hours tracing up the truck, and the snow is coming down harder so I don't feel like getting soaked.
Could it be something in the dash or a fuse? I thought both sides blinkers and brake lights shared fuses? I'm stumped on this, I'm starting to hate this trucks wiring, it's always giving me issues.
Try wiggling the turn signal handle up and down slightly - the turn brake power goes thru the turn signal switch and it can cause the power to be lost. Also try the emergency flasher to see if it works - different power source.
Good luck.
