My 94 F-350 PS isnt starting very well so I decided to do the glowplugs .
I phoned around for valve cover gaskets before I ripped it apart and to my surprise its going to cost me over $200.00 for the gaskets?
My question is why would i need new wiring that comes with the gaskets?
I looked on ebay and its the same way only a little cheaper.
Another question is how to remove the aircleaner box.
There was one bolt it and 2 other points that are attached by some kind of plastic fastners.
It doesnt seem to come easily so i must be doing something wrong?
The under valve cover wiring and valve cover gaskets are reusable unless they have melted plug which is common.
On the air box just leave the base in there and undo the two screws on the very top. They will either be plastic with 1/4 square drive or metal and use a flat blade screw driver. They should be metal as there was a TSB repair/replace for the plastic ones cause they break.
its normal to have some oil collect before the turbo. It can't stop it all.
Thanks for all your help.
You wouldnt want to come visit for a couple of days until I fix all this small crap in this truck I bought would you? LOLOLOL
We are in the middle of B.C. so you could relax and go fishing inbetween telling me how to fix my junk.
