390 block anybody?
I've got a 390 block in my shop taking up room.. it needs to go.. by this weekend, or I'll be forced to scrap it. was going to be a rebuilt motor for my 73 but ran out of time and money. so if anybody wants to make the drive to get it, just make me an offer and it's yours.. I'm a half hour south of southbend IN

Well Guys , I see a nice block and Crank there.....But Southbend is a bit of a drive for me....there got to be someone closer willing to pay the $25 scrap price...Just called my Cuz, Iron is $8 a hundred now....here in Southern VA....

Is that a D series block with the Mirror "105" image on it? Looks like it has the HD webbed main saddle in it?

Edit to add hard to tell about the webbing. At first glance it looked HD but looking again I'm not so sure. Kinda looks like the std webbing. Same block that's in my Cougar.

Hey there Tim. I actually live in Goshen...about 30 mins southeast of South bend. But I'm just not sure if I can talk my wife into letting me add to my already packed garage. And then theres the fact that my truck already has a 390 which is not running yet...but what the heck. I think I will take it. let me know if its still there.

I've still got it.. and I tried posting this in the for sale part of this website, but no takers.. I COULD just scrap it, but I REALLY don't want to scrap a good 390 block. they seem to be getting harder and harder to find..

Sure the hell couldnt read C7ME-A on the laptop....lol I need a BOG screen with a Magnifiier !!!!
