A good give-a-way on D3 or D4 blocks is that they also have the #'s (D4TE for example) casted on the (I think its on the driver side ) driver-side bank, just above the lifter valley!

Hey Wes !! Have you been reading my email ?? Ya I have to make a run down to Bristol, Tenn.. here in a couple of weeks and pick up a D series block from one of our good friends on another site ! So it should be interesting to find out what it will safely take as a Bore and still make a good stroker build?

But the Guy I'am getting it from says it will go and maybe allready at 4.110" and will handle the build without issue's on the street...and this Man knows what he's talking about with 50 years as an FE builder...So It'll give me and the Grandson something to play with this summer, and look for a body maybe next summer for it...lol..Depends on how much money the kid makes working at the Lake here...

I got him a job, at a friends Dockside Gas and grocery station...So he'll get paid re-fueling boats and looking at the Bikini's....My kinda work!!

RJ
