I assume you mean with stock brakes. I don't know how difficult it would be but I'd locate a MC for a late 60s Mustang with 4 wheel drum brakes (you would not have to install inline residual valves with this MC) and fabricate an adapter made from 1/4 inch plate to adapt it to bolt in the original location. I did this with a 34 Plymouth (also an under-the-floor MC) years ago but I used a single reservoir MC from a 65 Chevelle since at that time 34 Plymouth master cylinders were very hard to find. I don't know for sure if this is possible on the 48-52.
I using a drum/drum master cyl from a late 60's mustang. I made a simple adapter from some 3/8" plate to bolt it up. It was a fairly simple job. the truck is not on the road yet so I have not been able to test it other than when pushing the chassis around in the garage and drive way. BTW I am using this with the stock brake system.
