Gotcha.

I would still like to know when the pattern changed, if anyone has that info. I'm thinking 1980 with the body style change, but I'm not sure.

"...'66 to '78 many T18s used the T98 shifter assembly...." according to the site I mentioned earlier that won't post here. Thus the change in pattern.
