Split shots of singles?
Sorry guys i have not been on here for a while i really like this sit so much information and alot of knowledgeable guys thank you all for helping guys like me out. Now to he question i know there are differnt types of injectors out there is one beter than the other in the way of single and split shots? i want to do the diy stage 2 kit but wanted to know if i should go wih the splits cause they are on the newer 7.3's and they are able to make moe power so i though that they may be beter. any and all coments will be great thanks again!

My friend just converted his Splits in his 99 over to singles. I think that you can get more power from singles. It's just the size of the nozzle on the newer PSD'd that bigger. If your doing stage 2's, it's going to come with a bigger nozzle. Hope this helps!

The reason the new split shot injectors make more power because internally the are built to deleiver more fuel. The nozzles are the same as ours. if you compare equal sized splits to single the singles will make more power. The split shots are simply an noise and emissions product. Singles are cause a louder combustion event but provide more power.
Stage 2 singles are the way to go. Many stage 2 are stage 1's with larger nozzles. That is the way I am headed!
