actually you can get the code without pulling anything apart. First check the front door jam there may be a small white sticker with the code there. If not you need a mirror and look in the engine compartment at the PCM connector. There will be a sticker toward the passenger side that should have the code there. It will be three letters and a number

Not sure what this means but, I found a white sticker on my driver-side doorjamb that says, "Calibration" and "7-90A".

Any ideas? Did I find the wrong white sticker (it's the only one)?

TDE1 and TDE0 are good. Anything NAW# are CRAP IMO. I have had a NAW6 in last 2 trucks. Chip turned it TDE1. I will never want to go back!!!

It will not be a TDE flash if its a cali.
There are 3 different DPC-PCM's used in 97.
DPC-311,312,315.(cali)
Need to see your CODE.

My WAG is oem singles with a 1.00a/r or less on the motor.
Or gauge error.

That is the best your gunner get!
As far as oem. The chip tuner can clean it up more.
Check the turbo house. Its possible you have a 1.00a/r
