Yes. Swampers are about the best you can get for offroading situations. the difference between all terrains and swampers is like night and day.

The super swamper TSL is a great tire and will perform great in mud.

Are you going to keep your same rims?(how wide are they? 16.5x8?

also, how much road driving do you do?

I was affraid you might of had 16.5" rims.... IF you didn't, I was going to suggest the super swamper LTB 33x13.50
IT is cheaper, has a bigger outside lug, would fit on your width rim, and would last a good 4 maybe 5 years with your low miles.
But they don't make them for the 16.5 (other than the 47).

TSL should do you justice.

all the spray trucks up here run either swampers, or boggers

The TSLs don't last long, but if you take care of them, you will get 15K miles and possibly 20-25(depending on how much is off the black top).

The LTBs normaly last right around 15K, possibly more if it's on dirt a lot.

They are worth their weight in gold over A/Ts expecially when you use your truck as a truck off road and must go through the mud.

i had some used tsl bias on my old ranger in 2wd, you could sit the pumkin on the ground in a few seconds. so they have the traction, you just better make sure its in 4wd. and even with the back tires at 1/3 tread and the fronts at 2/3 tread they still rode good around town and decent up to 55 when i had to. And when MBB said 15k and maybe around 20K a big thing that will save your tread life, especailly on the front, is to slow down as much as you can while turning. my friend had a full size with truxus mud tires (radial) and drove it like a car and in a year the outsides of the treads were wore slap out from turning so fast. hope that helps.

also with a tire like this that gets any road time, rotating them regularly and keeping them properly inflated will add thousands of miles to them.
