Steering Stabilizer?

I have a 1979 Ford F-150 4X4 with a 6" lift kit soon to be on 35" tires. What would be the best kind of steering stabilizer (Single or Dual) for my off - road truck. Anything will help
Thanks

Hey not sure how you made out, but im in the same boat with my 76 f-150 4x4, running 35 boggers and a 4in lift. If youve found anything for the steering stabilizer info, id greatly apperciate the advise.

Cheers

With a 4 inch you can still run run a stock one and use a drop bracket for a taller lift of just spend a few minutes googling it and find a few aftermarcket ones. I've got a BDS dual stabilizer shock on mine.

I have dual rancho stabilizers on my 6" lift. I cannot come up with a single complaint from them.

I've been asking myself the same question - single or dual. Well, after scouring the internet for a few weeks, I decided first to replace my single stabilizer with a new one. I haven't swapped them yet, but I'm surprised how much force is required to move the piston on the new one (I'll compare this to the original). I found posts where folks have no stabilizer and see no issues. On the other end of the spectrum I found posts discussing dual stabilizers requiring too much force for the power steering system. Hence I'll see where replacing the single gets me as far as helping to reduce the slight bit of wandering I have.

I have a single on my 79 with a 4 inch suspension lift and 35's and it's good. I don't think dual stabilizers would add a worthy gain for the money spent in my case. The truck goes down the road straight as an arrow as is with a single steering stabilizer. If you're using the truck mainly off road, I don't see a reason for having two stabilizers anyway
