I recently bought this truck 112,000 miles and it started smoking blue really bad on the trip home. Local dealer said it needed an EGR so I had it replaced. The tech said it would take 1000 miles to burn the oil out of the exhaust, but another dealer's tech said it should burn out quickly. When I start the truck it's fine, but as it warms up I notice the blue smoke. Sometimes it is heavy some times light. Sometimes it doesn't smoke at all and when you come to a stop all of a sudden it will start. Any one have a similar experience or any suggestions.
I have 4 trucks with the 6.0 and I have noticed no loss of power in this recent purchase.
