Hello
Hi all, I just signed so thought I would fill you in a bit.
I've been a mechanic for 29 years, retired now and have a 77 F150 4X4 with a 300 six in it, I bought it in Co. from a little old lady (I really did). I'm in the process of fixing it up and so far have installed a rebuilt engine, clutch, rad, hoses, belts, steering box and pump. Coming from Co. it has some rust I need to repair and it was not very well maintained but it runs good and I use it a lot living out here on the US/Baja border.
Hope to be of some help on here but will probably ask more questions than I answer.

The transfer case is also cast iron. I paid $1,200 for it and the only reason I put a new engine was due to the miles and I planned on moving. I pulled a 2000lbs trailer with it over some pretty steep mnts.
